Job Summary:

MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the evening shift. As an LPN at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mental health treatment center.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care, adhering to the nursing process and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
• Implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and other stakeholders involved in patient treatment.
• Provide safe medication delivery in accordance with policies, procedures, and physicians' orders.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by the state is necessary.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification is required, with training available upon hire.
