We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CR Writer/Inspector to join our team at America's Auction. As a CR Writer/Inspector, you will be responsible for providing efficiency on condition reports and post-sale inspections, while ensuring superior customer service and adherence to all auction confidentiality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Complete initial inspections and logs of all personal property
- Inspect units cosmetically and mechanically, ensuring all vehicle Condition Reports are in compliance with each client's requirements
- Stock units into the system complete with trim codes
- Ensure each vehicle's mileage, options, damages, pictures, and mechanical status are accurately reported
- Check units for Frame and Flood damage
- Photograph all units to attach to condition reports
- Clear all information stored on vehicle's phone and navigation system
- Make sure auction tags are attached to units being inspected on test drives
- Ensure all tablets or handhelds are synced, properly charged, and handled with care
- Complete 20 to 30 condition reports daily, with the exception of sale day
- Work as PSI or Arbitration inspector on sale day
- Work well independently as well as a team player
- Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Computer and light mechanical experience
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined
- Highly customer service-oriented
- Computer proficient
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license
