Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Orthopedic Unit at Dearborn Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to adult patients with musculoskeletal problems, utilizing the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating patient and family input and goals.
  • Document patient education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Specialty certification in orthopedic nursing highly recommended within 2 years.
