Position Overview:

The Rental Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that both revenue targets and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved in alignment with the core values of Spectrum Resorts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute unit maintenance requests, which include diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, as well as pool and spa maintenance.
  • Manage inventory procurement and ensure secure storage of materials.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operational needs.
  • Develop and implement work schedules for maintenance personnel.
  • Coordinate training programs and recruitment processes for team members.
  • Assist in managing employee performance through discipline and incentive programs.
  • Evaluate team member performance regularly.
  • Oversee the timely completion of work orders.
  • Engage with suppliers as required for maintenance supplies.
  • Support initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and encourage constructive feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Gather and provide regular feedback from customers.
  • Assist with maintenance requirements for homeowners associations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; college degree or trade/technical school education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and resort management software.
Physical Demands:
  1. Capability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  2. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the work shift.
  3. Comfortable climbing and standing on ladders.
  4. Ability to navigate stairs.
  5. Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
