We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team at Concord Group Insurance. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a critical role in the preliminary review of commercial business lines, ensuring that all underwriting guidelines are met. Your expertise will help us provide exceptional service to our agents and customers.

### Key Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough preliminary reviews of new business, renewals, and inspections for all lines of commercial business
* Verify that business is issued in accordance with established underwriting guidelines
* Provide rating assistance and underwriting support to our agents
* Work closely with Underwriters to assist with underwriting functions for a block of agents
* Quote and issue new business and process endorsements

### Requirements

* High school education or equivalent
* Proficiency in commercial lines, including BOP, Auto, Contractors, Garage, and Dealers
* Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
