Position Summary

The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care in alignment with departmental standards and state regulations.

As an integral member of the healthcare team, you will conduct various diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments, including respiratory function and airway management.
- Execute diagnostic tests to determine the necessity and effectiveness of respiratory treatments.
- Administer various respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol treatments.
- Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate with healthcare providers as necessary.
- Provide support during emergency situations, ensuring airway safety and effective ventilation.

Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- State licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
