We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Operative/Post-Operative Registered Nurse to join our team at Arkansas Urology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Preop/PACU department, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient understanding of disease process and need for surgical intervention
  • Provide pre/post-operative teaching to patients and their families
  • Manage patient care, including maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Assess and manage postoperative complications, such as nausea and vomiting
  • Provide wound assessment and management to ensure uncomplicated wound healing
  • Administer medications safely and effectively
  • Manage patient complications and emergencies preoperatively and postoperatively
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Current Arkansas RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Two years' experience in clinical care, with an emphasis in PACU, surgery, or ER
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards
  • ACLS certification
