Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel ER Nurse. As a Travel ER Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency room environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the emergency room, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
  • Certification in BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS, depending on the specialty assigned.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
