Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all established nuclear medicine procedures, including calibration and quality checks, while practicing radiation safety and observing universal precautions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
  • Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by physician.
  • Interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies program/plan.
  • Manipulate raw data and review studies for correct positioning and overall quality.
  • Perform decontamination procedures and maintain security of all "hot" and "decay" areas.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
