We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team in Adrian, MI. As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and preparation of municipal water/wastewater and roadway design projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with licensed engineers to design and prepare various municipal water/wastewater and roadway design projects.
  • Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across multiple services sectors, including surveying, geotechnical, structural, traffic, transportation, and site construction.
  • Perform and check design calculations and perform various tasks related to preparing a design package with oversight/guidance from others.
  • Prepare or assist with plan development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed design plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar with two to five years' experience in civil/site engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in working in a vibrant and multi-faceted team environment.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Open Roads Designer.
