Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, Nebraska. This opportunity offers a unique chance to work with state-of-the-art angiographic equipment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for competently operating equipment used to perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies, para/thoracentesis, abscess drainages, peripheral vascular stenting, catheter placement, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization. You will also act as a scrub assistant on interventional and surgical procedures, receiving direction from attending physicians. Your duties will include monitoring patients, alerting staff to life-threatening changes in patient status, applying defibrillators, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required.

Job Requirements
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of medical imaging principles and practices
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
  • Must be able to lift and push/pull various equipment while utilizing proper technique

Compensation

The pay package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate, tax-free stipend amount, and benefits. This offer is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation.
