Sodexo, a leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join its Segment Support team at the Schools Department within the Financial Shared Service office in Cheektowaga, NY.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per yearJob Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting client contractual documents, administering master data and financial terms in SAP, and supporting existing business. Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting client contractual documents and administering master data and financial terms in SAP
- Supporting existing business, including cost center master data, client operating statements, billing, and fiscal close
- Applying objective accounting knowledge and judgment to contractual agreements and company policies as needed
- Maintaining the integrity of assigned balance sheet accounts, including preparing reconciliations and analyses
- Communicating with operations and finance teams to resolve open items
- Accounting experience and an accounting degree are preferred
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate organization and comprehension skills
- Capacity to perform and maintain core responsibilities while simultaneously involved in other department initiatives
- Analytical ability, Excel skills, and SAP experience
