We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication abilities.
- Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient progress.
- Document progress in patient charts and complete necessary notes and charges.
- Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
