Position Overview:

The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients within the practice, providing clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical services in accordance with the specialty. This role involves performing medical procedures that align with the prevailing professional standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the American Medical Association and the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Responsibilities will be executed in a manner that reflects our mission and core values.

The ideal candidate will possess board certification in neurosurgery and seek a role within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. A strong desire and capability to perform general neurosurgery is essential.

Key Features:

  • Access to Comprehensive & Primary Stroke Centers, utilizing advanced technologies such as image-guided navigational surgery.
  • Collaboration with a well-established team of neurologists specializing in areas including headaches, epilepsy, movement disorders, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • A robust referral network within the St. Luke's Medical Group and Medical Staff.
  • Support from a dedicated Neurosurgical ICU and surgical units.

St. Luke's provides a comprehensive range of services throughout the continuum of care, from diagnosis and inpatient treatment to rehabilitation and outpatient services.

Qualifications:

Education: MD/DO

Licensure/Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Specialty, ACLS and BLS Certification, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
