CHI Health Good Samaritan is a leading healthcare provider in Kearney, Neb., offering advanced level trauma care and emergency helicopter transport. Our 268-bed regional referral center is part of CommonSpirit Health, which operates 139 hospitals and over 1,000 care sites across 21 states.

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team. This role involves conducting initial investigations, proactive foot and vehicle patrols, responding to radio calls, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Conduct thorough security incident investigations and write detailed reports.
• Promote a safe environment through proactive patrol and surveillance.
• Respond promptly to security-related incidents, including escorts, property pick-ups, disturbances, and code calls.
• Maintain required training and certifications, including CPI, PPCT, and flu vaccination.
• Utilize camera systems and C-cure program for efficient operations.

• BLS certification upon hire; PPCT and CPI within six months.
• High school diploma or equivalent; computer skills and writing ability required.
• Preferred qualifications: high school diploma, previous security experience, and first aid training.

• Average salary range $45,000 - $60,000 annually, based on location and experience.
