We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at McLaren Port Huron in Port Huron, Michigan. This exciting new position will combine clinical services with academic teaching within our Family Medicine Rural Track residency program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Behavioral Medicine curriculum for Family Medicine Residency following ACGME requirements.
- Provide oversight for well-being programming for Graduate Medical Education.
- Perform clinical duties, including Consultation Liaison, Integrative Primary Care, Integrative Cancer Care, or Psychotherapy, depending on site need.
- Assist resident physicians with scholarly inquiry projects (research and/or quality Improvement).
- Participate in system-wide Academic Behavioral Health activities, including teaching for Clinical Health Psychology Post Doctoral Fellowship and/or Internship.
We prefer two years of experience in teaching in an ACGME residency program and completion of a Health Psychology post-doctoral fellowship. The selected candidate must have a license to practice Psychology in the state of Michigan.
