About the Role

Builders FirstSource is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian Indirect to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office building and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the office space is clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as emptying trash and recycling bins.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters, stocking snack and soda machines, and performing minor repairs.
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including mowing the lawn and trimming bushes.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
Requirements
  • No prior experience or training is required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform manual labor tasks.
