$20-30/hour based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about engaging with automation and specialized formulations of premium adhesives.

Your role will involve collaborating with Joulé, where your responsibilities will encompass chemical formulations and physical assessments for a leading entity in the adhesives and consumer products sector.

We require a commitment for approximately 6 months.

This role provides a chance to work alongside a distinguished team and enhance your expertise in application chemistry and physical evaluations.


Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a Senior Technician or Chemist, the Specialist will be expected to carry out the following tasks with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy:
1. Formulate adhesive mixtures from chemical components.
2. Assess performance attributes of adhesive mixtures utilizing established methodologies.
3. Analyze, gather, and document data in accordance with organizational standards.
4. Utilize a computer to input data/information, including charts and tables for the communication of project outcomes/details.
5. Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and cleanliness.

Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to experimental protocols for data preservation.
- Comfortable and capable of handling hazardous substances while following safe laboratory practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to remain standing while working in the laboratory for extended periods.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Prior laboratory experience is advantageous.
