Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care, services, and health education for residents.
- Oversee the care and services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members.
- Administer safe and precise medication-related interventions.
- Evaluate the health status of residents and communicate changes to the physician; implement new orders promptly.
- Formulate a care plan based on assessments and implement nursing interventions.
- Select and execute appropriate nursing actions to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications.
- Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and care plan development.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- CPR certification.
