Job Summary
As a Quality Management Associate at Mennel Milling Company, you will play a crucial role in developing technical and leadership skills necessary to become a leader within the Quality organization. This position will be responsible for sustaining the food safety policy, mission, purpose, and quality statements of the company.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7AM - 4PM, with varying shifts depending on workload.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain department and facility in an audit-ready condition at all times.
• Conduct accurate analysis of routine and non-routine samples for internal and external customers in support of all food safety programs, quality control, and meeting customer expectations, timelines, and specifications.
• Maintain accountability with all testing methods, data entry performed, operator training, and equipment validation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, in addition to assigned sanitation duties.
• Promptly communicate important quality, safety, and security concerns to co-workers and Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in the physical sciences is preferred.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment is desired.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and organize tasks and follow through to ensure completion of assignments in an efficient and high-quality manner.
• Must exhibit a high aptitude of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
