Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely driving tandem and tri-axle trucks equipped with a dump and/or roll off body to transport materials to various locations, job sites, and/or offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive tandem and tri-axle trucks to transport materials to various locations, job sites, and/or offices.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip DOT inspections of the assigned truck and document findings.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of materials, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work truck with regular maintenance, inspecting the load before transport to ensure materials are loaded correctly.
  • Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
  • Follow Superintendent or Facility Manager directions and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
  • Ability to drive an automatic or manual shift truck.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and process documents such as operating and maintenance manuals, scheduling charts, policy and procedure manuals, repair records, and equipment performance handbooks.
Requirements
  • CDL license with a valid endorsement for the type of vehicle being operated.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as climb in and out of the truck.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
