About the Role

Vestas Wind Technology, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team in Courtenay, ND. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and installation work on wind turbines, including climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts to complete tasks.
  • Work in a team environment, providing mentorship to entry-level technicians and contributing to a positive and motivated team culture.
  • Identify solutions to issues using process of elimination and take initiative in daily tasks.
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least one year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial background.
  • Safety-focused mindset and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative in daily tasks.
