We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at UDR Inc. in Germantown, MD. You will also be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs, as well as providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments, common areas, and amenities
- Ensure the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including grounds, amenities, and buildings
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace, ensuring they are organized and in proper working order
- Assist in stocking inventory and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the multi-family or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair; HVAC and carpentry experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to work a rotating on-call schedule
- Competitive hourly rate: $22-$26/hour, depending on experience
