Job Overview
KAMS Auto Service Center is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our thriving service department. As a family-owned full-service repair shop, we have established a strong presence in the community, known for our commitment to Professional Service and Personal Care. Our team consists of dedicated long-term employees, and we are excited to expand our family.
In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles. Proficiency in using diagnostic software and a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems are essential.

Qualifications:
ASE Certified Auto Technician
ASE Certifications required
Must possess necessary tools
Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Pass a drug screening
Effective communication skills with service writers, customers, and management
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

We welcome serious applicants with automotive mechanic experience only.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Must be capable of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and twisting for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Requires manual dexterity for tasks involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise and diagnostic tools to assess vehicle malfunction codes.
- Assist in developing service center protocols for tracking repair status and maintaining technical documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Clearly communicate necessary vehicle repair information to customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
