We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Endoscopy patients pre, intra, and post-procedure.
- Assist physicians in operative procedures.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Prior Endoscopy nursing experience highly preferred.
- National specialty board certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
