Position Responsibilities

The CT Technologist plays a vital role within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Radiologists to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Processing and transmitting images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred: One year of acute clinical radiology experience.
  • Required: Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Required: Extensive understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by state regulations.
  • Effective July 1, 2015, CT ARRT Certification is mandatory.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.

Compensation Range

The current compensation range for this position is between $37.04 and $48.33 per hour. The specific starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
