The Certified Nursing Assistant provides high-quality daily nursing care and services to each assigned resident under the resident's assessment and care plan. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
• Assist residents in their activities of daily living according to their care plan for assigned residents.
• Assist residents in getting dressed or completely dressing residents if unable to dress.
• Assist residents in using the toilet if able, and wash, clean, and keep dry residents unable to use the toilet.
• Assist residents in getting in and out of beds, chairs, wheelchairs, lounge chairs, tubs, scales, and other equipment used in resident care.
• Transport residents from place to place by wheelchair or walkers or supports them as they walk.
• Lift and reposition residents utilizing lift equipment and assistance from other team members as needed.
• Help residents with meals, pass meal trays, help them set up before eating, or may be required to feed as needed.
• Record meal consumption per policy.
Requirements:
• Registered by the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred.
