Job Summary

The Physical Therapist restores patients' function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy services in the home setting. This role requires a strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' specific needs
  • Evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient treatment and progress
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in South Dakota (and other required states)
  • At least one year of experience in hospital-based physical therapy or similar settings
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
