Job Summary

Wood plc is seeking a skilled Compressor Operator to join our team in Douglas, WY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production facilities and compressor/booster stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair compressors as needed
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
• Develop and implement work permits for construction or maintenance projects
• Participate in hands-on training and cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
• Comply with all applicable company procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in oil/gas field operations
• Working knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors, as well as oil and gas operations (Amine and Glycol systems, compression, pipelines, measurement, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Cygnet (or other SCADA system), and IMaps (or Google Maps)
• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
