Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Froster to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes and contributing to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary frosting recipes and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize measuring instruments, mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
  • Ensure adequate supplies of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests and maintain par levels.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure quality standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensure frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain consistent work attendance and punctuality records.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Understanding of basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform repetitious tasks requiring precise and continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work on a tight production schedule, and discipline to adhere to health and safety practices.
  • Diligence, organization, and self-motivation, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment

Must have flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.

Employees at a franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.
