Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients requiring ventilatory assistance, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Current RT clinical license in all states serviced by AdaptHealth LLC.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
