Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting the Sales Team. This position is responsible for implementing merchandising strategies within designated retail chains and independently owned outlets. You will drive sales by effectively servicing customers through proper restocking and rotation of products in coolers, shelves, displays, and back stock areas. The Retail Sales Support Coordinator will aid the Sales Team in constructing displays, executing planner changes, and adhering to both Eagle Rock and retailer merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts.
  • Safely operate equipment to transport products (U-Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Maintain an organized and tidy back room stock.
  • Enhance shelf facings for all products in accordance with Company standards.
  • Ensure product quality through diligent date rotation across all points of sale.
  • Utilize Point-of-Sale materials (e.g., shelf talkers, posters, carton stuffers, bottle collars) to boost sales.
  • Construct, merchandise, and uphold all promotional displays (e.g., remove cartons from shelves, cut cases, display Point-of-Sales, post prices, etc.).
  • Stock and merchandise all coolers.
  • Visit assigned retail locations to merchandise products per company standards and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with store managers and staff to maximize product visibility and sales opportunities.
  • Adhere to check-in/check-out procedures in every account, following the designated route.
  • Collect and report data on sales performance, inventory levels, and competitor activity to your supervisor.
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comply with all Company rules and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed and assigned.
  • Availability to work weekends is required.
  • REGULAR, RELIABLE, PREDICTABLE ATTENDANCE IS A MUST.
Physical Requirements
  • 5-day work week, including weekends.
  • 2 consecutive days off.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40lbs regularly.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move 25lbs.
  • Comfortable working in refrigerated areas of grocery and liquor stores.
Work Environment
  • Job duties are primarily performed inside and outside customer accounts.
  • Occasional work in an office and/or warehouse environment is required.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions may occur.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary to access multiple store locations within assigned shifts.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented.
  • Quickly learn and understand product codes and rotation policies.
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and dependability on the job.

  • Completion of a high school diploma/GED or comparable work experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $20.87 per hour

(Actual compensation offer may vary based on route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.)
