Job Title: Licensed Master's Level Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Master's Level Clinician to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As a member of our department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including youth and adults with mental health challenges and functional difficulties related to neurodevelopmental conditions.

Job Summary:

This is a half-time (.50 FTE) position that will involve providing clinical services, including comprehensive clinical assessments and consultations, as well as individual, family, and potentially group psychotherapy to young people experiencing clinical high risk for psychosis (CHR-P) and their families. The clinician will also have the opportunity to participate in research studies and contribute to program development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services, including comprehensive clinical assessments and consultations, as well as individual, family, and potentially group psychotherapy to young people experiencing CHR-P and their families.
  • Participate in research studies and contribute to program development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and trainees from several disciplines to provide specialized CHR-P care.
  • Conduct evidence-based assessments for CHR-P funded research studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients with CHR-P and their families.
  • Provide training and education to local providers, undergraduate and graduate trainees, and community members on CHR-P and early intervention for psychosis.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree and independently licensed in Colorado (LMHC or LCSW).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with youth with mental health challenges and/or functional difficulties related to neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Strong foundational understanding of mental health diagnosis.
  • Ability to conduct therapy in Spanish would be highly valued.
  • Commitment to cultural humility and competence when working with youth and families that are richly diverse in culture and background, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, etc.
