Financial Controller

Creative Financial Staffing is in search of a skilled and driven Financial Controller to become a vital part of our client's finance department. The Financial Controller will be tasked with supervising all fiscal and accounting operations, ensuring the precision of financial disclosures, and offering strategic financial insights to facilitate the company's expansion and operational objectives.

Primary Duties of the Financial Controller:

  • The Financial Controller will oversee and direct the overall accounting operations, which include, but are not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and tax compliance.
  • Prepare, review, and scrutinize financial statements to guarantee accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Establish and uphold timely and precise financial statements and reports that are suitable for the intended audience and comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting; oversee all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting activities.

Requirements for the Financial Controller:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • The Financial Controller should possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
