Cedar Plaza Vet Inc is a 2 location, AAHA accredited, family owned small animal hospital seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support their owners with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities:

Perform medical examinations on various animals including dogs, cats, and other small pets

Diagnose illnesses and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

Conduct surgeries and dental procedures as needed - Administer vaccinations and medications

Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health and treatment options

Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - State veterinary license in good standing

Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and laboratory procedures

Active DEA license

Experience in animal catheterization, handling, husbandry, and kennel management

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
