Cardiac Sonographer Registered Inpatient Specialist

As a Cardiac Sonographer Registered Inpatient, you will play a critical role in helping physicians assess and determine the cardiac conditions of patients. You will perform a range of cardiac ultrasound procedures under the guidance and heavy supervision of the chief technical sonographer. Your exceptional customer service skills will be essential in prioritizing patient safety, preferences, and effective communication. You will partner with patients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders to contribute to accurate cardiac diagnostics and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and special exams consistent with established protocols with good diagnostic quality.
- Analyze test data and accurately communicate findings to reading cardiologists to aid in proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and request repair of all testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results and promote patient safety and efficient workflow.
- Maintain professional and CPR certification to adhere to industry standards and ensure readiness to respond to any cardiac emergencies that may arise.
- Administer image enhancing agent as ordered to optimize quality of echocardiogram.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years in Healthcare - Ultrasound Training program.
- RDCS | Reg Dx Cardiac | Registered Cardiac Sonographer RDCS or RCS from ARDMS or CCI.
- BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
