Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team at Burkhardt Heating and Air Conditioning. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong typing skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing paperwork, processing warranties, permits, and vehicle registrations, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is an in-office role, and you will work closely with our team to ensure all data is accurately entered and various operational tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Permit Management: Assist in pulling and processing required permits for installations and service work.
  • Warranty & Paperwork Processing: Manage warranty claims, paperwork, and related documentation.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter data into internal systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and error-free.
  • Computer Skills: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage documents, create spreadsheets, and communicate via email.
  • Typing: Maintain a typing speed of 50-80 WPM to process data efficiently.
  • Phone Support: Provide phone support as needed for customer inquiries and service-related questions.
  • Installs: Assist with documentation related to installations and related tasks.
  • Part Ordering & Running Parts: Process orders for parts and ensure timely delivery or pickup of required materials.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist with the reconciliation of receipts to statements and other accounts payable tasks.
  • Vehicle Registration Processing: Manage the processing and tracking of vehicle registrations.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Typing Skills: Minimum typing speed of 50-80 WPM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Required
  • Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Essential
  • Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously: Required
  • Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal
