Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to female veterans, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including mental health specialists, gynecologists, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in women's health.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in women's health to provide evidence-based care.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Experience in women's health and primary care is preferred.
