Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our customers' needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Your responsibilities will include:
Receive project assignments from Project Manager and/or Technical Lead
Write PLC and HMI Application Software
Configure AC and DC Drive Equipment
Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings
Report on project status and communicate technical issues
Develop technical documentation and specifications
Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing

Preferred Experience with the following Drive systems:
ABB, Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Reliance Electric.

Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation
Experience working with PLC, AC & DC Drive systems, and HMI products
Metals processing knowledge is strongly preferred
Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software and complimentary areas
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to lead all phases of a project while managing critical milestones and customers

Salary:
$80k - $110k (Based on Experience)
