Shift: 8-hour days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in cardiovascular procedures

License: Graduation from a surgical technologist program

Certifications: BLS, preferably CST certification

Must-Have:

  • Cardiovascular experience
  • BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular procedures

Job Description:

  • Perform duties as a surgical technologist for cardiovascular and vascular procedures, as well as general and orthopedic procedures as needed.
  • Utilize equipment specific to the surgical unit. No computerized charting is required.
  • Work shifts from , Monday to Friday, with some starts as early as 0600 as needed.
  • Be available for weekday and weekend oncall duties; weekday call starts at 1430, and weekend call starts at 0700.
  • Wear hospital laundered scrubs as part of the dress code.
  • Participate in a 1 week orientation program, with 8 hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
  • Work in a department with 15 operating rooms.
