Job Summary:

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to patients in a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and treating patients with diagnosed conditions, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to patients, including evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and other team members.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Work Experience:

At least 2 years of SLP experience.
