NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist IV to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing clinical testing in laboratory areas, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and City regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical testing in laboratory areas, adhering to established standards and controls.
- Obtain and process laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and body fluids, and perform clinical laboratory tests.
- Record and file all data obtained, ensuring accuracy and acceptability.
- Work independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines.
- Valid license as a clinical laboratory technologist issued by the NYSED.
- Meet one of the qualification requirements of a laboratory supervisor as outlined in Title 10, Section 58-1.4 of the New York Public Health Law.
