Job Description

The Superintendent will oversee project scheduling, coordination, and supervision at construction sites. This individual will work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution. Superintendents are expected to maintain open communication channels with Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Coordinate Activities: Review project documents, including plans and specifications, to understand project scope and budget.
  • Meet with Project Manager: Discuss project bidding strategies, labor burdens, equipment costs, and other essential aspects.
  • Manage Subcontractors and Suppliers: Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Problem-Solving and Safety: Address daily project issues with assistance from the Project Manager as needed, while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Project Layout and Quality Control: Verify field dimensions, keep the job site clean and organized, and ensure high-quality work.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Prior experience in managing self-performance trade scopes is highly desirable.
  • OSHA training.
