Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a skilled CDL Class A or B Driver to join our team in Lima, OH. As a valued member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting building materials to job sites and unloading merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver building materials to job sites and unload merchandise in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a Moffett and/or knuckleboom truck to unload shingles on one and two-story homes
  • Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations
  • Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse
  • Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area

Requirements:

  • CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver's license
  • 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
  • Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience desired, but will train
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Heavy Lifting experience
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
