We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Washington University in St. Louis. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing orthopedic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 year of experience in an orthopedic surgery setting preferred.
