About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Electrical Engineer to join our Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine engineering tasks, primarily in system protection and SCADA disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform short-circuit and symmetrical component analysis, time-current coordination, step-distance coordination, and relay settings development.
  • Apply protection system engineering practices and principles in areas such as transmission line, bus, transformer, capacitor bank, reactor bank, feeder, generator, motor, and communication-assisted protection schemes.
  • Create SCADA point lists, remote terminal unit (RTU) programs, human-machine interfaces (HMI's), meter programs, metering overviews, and calculations under the supervision of a lead engineer.
  • Develop complete design packages for site network and communication architectures compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, with an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
  • Passed the EIT exam, preferred.
  • At least 2 years of engineering experience required.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
