Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness dedicated to empowering agriculture. We are seeking an experienced Custom Applicator/Operations Specialist to join our team in Oslo, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers and crop protection products under general supervision, utilizing high-clearance sprayers or floaters as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, educating customers on products, techniques, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to ensure accurate orders and meet customer needs.
  • Perform warehouse duties, including operating loaders, forklifts, and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and trucks, handling bulk and packaged materials.
  • Deliver products to customers as required and perform general labor tasks efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, or application.
  • Meet minimum age requirements.
Additional Qualifications
  • Meet DOT and company requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobiles.
  • Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • CDL license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to attain one preferred.
  • Applicator's license, chemical application education, forklift certification, and farming/agriculture background preferred.
  • Pre-employment screenings may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle checks, physical requirements, and FMSCA Clearinghouse.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and load up to 75 lbs.
