Job Title: Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategic purchasing initiatives and objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce expenses and improve production effectiveness.
  • Manage and analyze key functional metrics to optimize vendor relationships and improve supply chain performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements for documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Forecast future production needs based on historical data and planned usage.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Determine optimal order quantities, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships and a diverse range of stock keeping units (SKUs).
  • Gather and analyze data and metrics to compile reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience as a Purchasing Manager, Agent, or Officer from a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent negotiation, sourcing, vendor management, and decision-making skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise with SAP Business One or a related ERP platform required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work on-site weekdays from 8:30 – 5PM.

Pay Details: $77,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
