We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Burn and Wound Clinic team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
- Conduct complete patient evaluation before procedure, including review of patient history and diagnostic tests, as well as physical and psychological assessments.
- Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

We are a Level II trauma center and offer a range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, and inpatient rehabilitation.
