About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Project Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from our top HVAC teams and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service, as well as other work assigned by the Employer, at the respective apprentice rate of pay.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems, respond to basic warranty calls, and keep JCI, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment
  • EPA Refrigeration certification a plus
  • The ability to perform general building maintenance
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • This position requires a current driver's license
  • Willingness to supplement on-the-job training with training provided through the apprenticeship program
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
